Last years Auction was called the Hunter Outdoors Auction and mainly promoted as a hunter's sale. We also had a good bit of farm, ranch and contractor items , so this year it's an all inclusive general consignment auction.
Sellers: We will take consignments from now until auction day, but remember, in order for your items to be included in the advertising, which is to your benefit, we must have your consignment by Sept 15th and definitely no later than Sep 22nd to make the final ad. We will start receiving items and working on set up each afternoon from 1pm to 5pm starting Monday Sept. 24th. Bring large items anytime, bring the small items Fri. afternoon. Buyers: check back on this website as auction day nears to see sale items and other info. See directions after Terms and Conditions.
TERMS and CONDITIONS of SALE:
BUYERS:
All items sold as is - where is. Orrell Auction Co. nor sellers make any warranties on any item.
You must have a buyer number to bid. To receive a buyer number you must register at sales office and provide name, address, and drivers licence or social security number. And please give your e-mail address.
Items will be sold to the highest bidder unless the seller has set a reserve price.
Bidders will be assumed to have inspected items to their own satisfaction prior to sale.
Bidding on an item is consent to a legally binding oral contract. Auctioneer has right to refuse any bid for any reason.
Sale is complete when auctioneer declares sold. All sales are final and there will be no reversal.
Items sold will immediately become safeguarding responsibility of buyer.
Buyer is responsible for loading and removing purchases. Items may be removed during sale as long as removal doesnt disrupt sale.
Buyers premium : 10% buyers premium on purchase up to $1000 (Example: high bid $100.00 buyer pays $110.00 at checkout.)
7.5% BP on purchases of $1000 to $3000,
5% BP on purchases of $3000 and up
Payment must be by CASH or GOOD CHECK before removing items from sale site.
CHECKS ACCEPTED from new customers WITH A BANK LETTER addressed to Orrell Auction Co. verifying available funds
All items must be paid for and removed from sale site same day of sale.
Any items remaining on sale site at noon of day following sale will be removed by and become property of Orrell Auction Co.
SELLERS:
Items to be sold must be properly listed with Orrell Auction Co. on a consignment form signed by the seller.
If possible, and to their benefit, Sellers should be on hand before and during sale to show, crank, drive, demonstrate, talk about or answer questions about their merchandise.
Unsold items must be removed day of sale. Any items remaining at noon of day after sale will be removed by and will become property of Orrell Auction Company.
PO charge is $5.00. Seller may set a reserve price. If high bid does not meet reserve, seller may choose to accept high bid or PO item.
10% sales commission from sellers proceeds. Example: item sells for $100.00 seller receives $90.00 at settlement.
Settlement will be made by check on Wednesday Oct. 3rd. Checks may be picked up at Orrell Auction Co. office at 1815 Hwy 278 E, Monticello Ark. Checks not picked up will be mailed to the address given by seller no later than Thursday Oct 5th, 2007 unless otherwise directed by seller.
DIRECTIONS:
From intersect. Hwy 425 & 278 take 278E. Traveling east on 278/35 traffic becomes 1 way eastbound. Pass Monticello City Square. Thru light continue eastward, returns to 2 way traffic, continue to Airport Rd, Hwy 35 Ys off to the right, You stay straight on 278E for approx. 1 mile , JO Ranch on right. See auction signs.
