The building is over flowing with furniture for this auction! Fantastic Victorian walnut marble top dresser from Rossville, GA homeowner! Best I have seen in over 40 years of attending auctions!!! Large quanity Royal Winton china from Columbus, Ga collection. Plus quality consignments from Alpharetta, Cumming, Stone Mountain and Woodstock.
* Semi Load Antique Furniture *
The semi load of antique furniture from Northern estates arrived Tuesday! This load contained a nice selection of mahogany furniture including pieces from the 1800's through the 1950's.
* Myrna's Update *
I took Myrna to see her heart doctor last Thursday. He said she is doing quite well for what she has been though. However he doesn't want her to go back to her normal schedule for at least a month. He did say however that it would be ok for her to drive to the auction house. Which she has taken avantage of on a daily basis!!!
Saturday Morning Update: Myrna is doing quite well and has been at the auction house working the last several days. I expect her to be at the auction tonight. Though Melanie and I plan to keep her under "control" for a couple more weeks. I am sure she would appreciate seeing all her friends!
* No Stress by Doctor's Orders! * Myrna loves the auction business however it does have it's stressful moments. As such I have assumed the much sought after position as head of the "Complaint Department" at My Hart! As head of the complaint department one of my first duties will be the addition of surveillance cameras at all doors. Anyone removing merchandise from the building will need a paid invoice or prior approval from Melanie or myself! While this is a small first step it should help eliminate the question of who left without paying for an item!
* Preview 12 Noon Until Auction *
We start each antique auction with quality antiques and collectibles at 6:30PM. At around 7:00PM we sell furniture. Our auctioneer sells at a rapid pace with most auctions lasting until around 10:30PM - 11:00PM. Box lots sell at the end of the auction!
