INN BY THE LAKE, located on 38 acres ideally situated next to Kentucky Dam Village State Park, is a unique place to get away from it all. The INN BY THE LAKE is a beautiful resort made of Native Sandstone and rough sawn cedar siding. The atmosphere is relaxing and casual. There are 85 rooms including four mini-suites, six two-room extended stay suites and fourteen king rooms with recliners available. A variety of activities are just outside the door. We have 6 holes of three-par golf open for our guests. We have a new Archery target range. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming facilities. Deer and turkey are seen every day grazing behind the motel. INN BY THE LAKE is just 20-45 minutes away from 11 area golf courses, 30 minutes from Harrah’s Metropolis Casino and 20 minutes away from American Quilter’s’ Society Museum in Paducah, KY. Each year in April over thirty thousand quilters, from all over the world, descend on the area for a week long of schooling & buying of quilting products and judging of hundreds of beautiful quilts. Ky Lake Speedway featuring stockcar races is bringing several thousand fans to the lake area every weekend from April till November. Many of the out of town drivers and fans stay at the motel.
INN BY THE LAKE is not only perfect for the vacationing people; it offers excellent facilities for the businessperson. INN BY THE LAKE caters to the business groups with meeting facilities that hold up to 85 people. There is a second meeting room, next to the restaurant, that will seat 30 people and has a fireplace that works for that special wintertime gathering. INN BY THE LAKE supplies many of the necessities for a meeting or conference. The motel is an ideal size for business or church seminars and we host many family reunions.
