68 Head of High Grade Dairy Cattle, 58 Holstein cows, 4 Holstein x cross cows, 1 R&W Holstein cow, 3 Holstein springing heifers, 2 Holstein open heifers
This is a very good herd of dairy cattle that have been bred well for production. The herd is very well timed for the sale with 20 cows recently fresh and another 15 are close springers. Current bulk tank receipts show a 3.9% B.F. & SCC in the 200,000 range. There will be several cows milking over 100 lbs. per day. Top bulls from Select Sires have been used with daughters of Mathie, O-Man, Mr. Sam, Zenith, London, Forbidden, and Marion being sold. These are well uddered cows with good feet and legs as well. This sale will feature several 2 yr.olds that have just recently freshened. All pertinent info. will be posted on sale day.
